Smiths Medical Janssen Cilag Travel Scholarship Best paper Caudal block revisited: improving safety. This paper analysed the position of the dural sac in ex premature babies in relation to the sacral hiatus as determined by ultrasound and suggested a safer technique to reduce the risk of dural puncture. The first anaesthesiologist to have won this award on two occasions. Previous winners are excluded from entry for 5 years.
