The diagnosis of a vascular disease of the brain or spinal cord can require many tests, including:
- MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans
- Magnetic resonance scans of the arteries (MRA)
- Magnetic resonance scans of the veins (MRV)
- Cerebral angiogram
