Seattle Children’s Hospital Opens Clinic in Wenatchee

February 07, 2013

Seattle Children’s Wenatchee Clinic makes pediatric specialty care easily accessible to North Central Washington families

Today, Seattle Children’s Hospital opened its newest regional clinic, Seattle Children’s Wenatchee Clinic located at 526 North Chelan Ave., Suite B, in Wenatchee. The clinic will be staffed by the same physicians and nurses who care for patients at Children’s main hospital in Seattle.

Children’s Wenatchee Clinic will provide five medical specialties - cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, orthopedics and pulmonary care - for children, teens and young adults throughout North Central Washington. It will also offer telemedicine consultations for psychiatry and behavioral health services, where patients and their families will be able to meet virtually with their care team located at Children’s main hospital.

“For families in the Wenatchee area, frequent travel to the main hospital in Seattle can be a hardship,” said Cindy Evans, senior vice president of hospital operations at Seattle Children’s. “Children’s Wenatchee Clinic provides patients and their families with access to the best in pediatric specialty care, all while staying closer to home.”

The clinic joins the family of Children’s regional clinics in Bellevue, Everett, Federal Way, Mill Creek, Olympia and the Tri-Cities. Regional clinics showcase Children’s dedication to making pediatric specialty care more accessible and convenient for patients and families.

Children’s Wenatchee Clinic’s office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the clinic at 509-662-9266. If language interpretation services are needed, appointments can be scheduled via Children’s interpretation line at 866-583-1527.
