Born without legs and only one arm, Kayla Wheeler, a 16-year-old high school student from Lynnwood, Wash., is gearing up to compete in the 2013 International Paralympic Committee Swimming World Championships this August in Montreal. Kiko Van Zandt, a coach and pediatric rehabilitation clinic nurse at Seattle Children's Hospital, is quoted in this article.
