Dr. Thomas Hansen joined Seattle Children's Hospital in 2005. As the CEO, Dr. Hansen has been working to help the hospital achieve its vision by delivering the highest quality healthcare to all children regardless of their families' ability to pay. Under his leadership, Children's is also making significant investments in research to prevent, treat and eliminate pediatric disease. His extensive background in neonatology and its devastating effects have helped focus his own research interests on Children's Program for Prevention of Prematurity and Stillbirth.
