Factores desencadenantes

(In English: Triggers)

Sabes lo que es un factor desencadenante: algo en una pistola que hace salir la bala. En el caso del asma, el factor desencadenante puede ser cualquier cosa que genere síntomas asmáticos, como la tos, la sibilancia y la falta de aire. Los factores desencadenantes varían de una persona a otra y de una estación del año a otra. También cambian a medida que el niño crece. Los factores desencadenantes más comunes son los resfriados, el cigarrillo, el aire frío, el ejercicio y cualquier cosa que genere una reacción alérgica, como los ácaros y el polen.
