El resuello es un silbido agudo que se produce cuando el aire fluye a través de vías respiratorias estrechas en los pulmones. En general, se produce al exhalar. El resuello es un síntoma común en las personas asmáticas, pero puede aparecer por otras causas. Un médico puede escuchar el resuello con un estetoscopio, pero, en ocasiones, es posible escucharlo sin necesidad de utilizar este instrumento.
