Análisis de la función pulmonar
( Lung Function Tests )

Los análisis de la función pulmonar consisten en una variedad de exámenes que miden la capacidad respiratoria de una persona. Pueden servir para diagnosticar el asma o para evaluar la gravedad de esta afección y el grado de eficacia con que se la está controlando. Un ejemplo de un análisis de la función pulmonar es la espirometría. Para este análisis, se respira en un dispositivo que registra la cantidad de aire que se exhala después de una inhalación profunda y la rapidez con que se lo exhala.
