( Animal Dander )

Todos los animales de sangre caliente desprenden pequeñísimas escamas de su piel, su pelaje o sus plumas. Este polvillo se asemeja a la caspa de las personas, pero no se ve con la misma facilidad. Si una persona es alérgica a los animales, es probable que el causante del problema sea el polvillo que éstos desprenden. El polvillo que desprenden las mascotas puede ser problemático para las personas asmáticas, porque, si son alérgicas a él, es posible que sus afecciones respiratorias se agraven.
