Asthma Action Plan

Lots of stuff goes more smoothly when you have a plan - and that includes dealing with asthma . An asthma action plan is a set of written instructions that can help a person manage breathing problems. That way, the person doesn't have to go to the doctor or hospital all the time. A doctor designs the action plan together with his or her patient. It may include triggers , problems to watch for, information about medicine, and important phone numbers. The plan also may tell the person what to do in an emergency.
