How Do I Lose Body Fat?

|

I have some excess body fat in my stomach area. I play water polo 5 days a week, work 2 days a week, and have ballet twice a week. How can I get rid of some of that body fat?

Wow, it sounds like you have a very healthy exercise routine that you should be proud of. The bad news is that it is impossible to lose weight in one specific area - the body just doesn't work like that. The good news is that you can tone your body by incorporating some core exercises such as sit-ups, push-ups, and light weight training into what is already a great exercise routine.

Be sure you're eating a healthy, balanced diet, and talk to your doctor or the trainer at school about starting an easy-to-follow strength-training program to complement your other activities.
