A resource specialist for the deaf and hard-of-hearing is available for questions or concerns. To reach the resource specialist, call (206) 987-2000 (Voice) or (206) 987-2280 (TTY) and ask for her to be paged.

Disabled parking is available on levels 4, 5 and 6 of the Whale garage and on Helen Lane near the Giraffe entrance. There are also disabled parking spaces for Emergency Room families in Lot 4.
We accept all state handicapped parking permits. If you need to apply for a state disabled parking permit, our Parking and Commuter Services Office can give you a form. The form requires a doctor's approval.

We provide wheelchairs, carts, wagons and strollers for patients and families to use while in the hospital. The equipment is usually available near the greeter desk at each entrance.
If you or your child needs a wheelchair upon arrival, please call (206) 987-2260 to make arrangements ahead of time.
There are two family restrooms equipped to meet the needs of families with children too large (over 30 pounds) to diaper or change using the baby changing stations located in the public restrooms. Each room is outfitted with a toilet, sink and large platform that electrically adjusts up and down .
