Children's Physicians Named "Top Docs" by Seattle Magazine

Seattle Magazine's September issue features 89 members of Children's medical staff in the publication's annual listing of top physicians in the Seattle area. The article also highlights Dr. Linda Quan, medical staff president, as an international expert in the field of drowning prevention.
The "Top Docs" are selected through a confidential survey sent to a randomized list of physicians and complementary health care providers in King County and portions of Snohomish and Pierce counties.

The surveys ask them to name the provider they would recommend in 56 different specialty areas and three areas of complementary medicine, regardless of their hospital, clinic or health-plan affiliation. Those names that appeared frequently are the ones included on the final list.
