Before starting your rotation, you must complete and pass the Web Based Computerized Provider Order Entry training.
If you do not complete the training before the first day of your rotation, you will be unable to report to your department until you have taken the training.

Orientation to Pediatric Inpatient Medical Teams
The best way to make your first day go smoothly is to contact one of the senior residents on the Medical Team that you are assigned to the day prior to your arrival.
They will tell you more about the first day's schedule and put you in touch with the intern from whom you can get sign out on the patients that you will be picking up.

Our Medical Teams include:
- House (General Medicine), Private (Community MDs), and Subspecialty attendings
- Two team seniors: R2 or R3
- Four interns: two per senior resident
- Two to three 3rd year medical students
- Plus or minus 4th year medical student doing a sub–I
- Team Coordinator (TC) who helps with daily work and care coordination
- Care Coordinator (CC) who helps with discharge planning and follow–up
