Mending Our Kids: A Children's HealthLink Special

December 28, 2006

KING-TV, Northwest Cable News and KONG-TV will air a one-hour HealthLink special entitled Mending our Kids.

This one-hour special features Children’s internationally-recognized Orthopedics Program and follows 9 patients who are being treated for a range of orthopedic conditions and bone deformities. Staff and physicians from Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, OR and the NW Tissue Center will be part of the program.

Mending Our Kids is set to air on the following dates:

• Thursday, Dec. 28, 8 to 9 p.m. on KING TV
• Friday, Dec. 29, 10 to 11 p.m. on Northwest Cable News
• Monday, Jan. 1, 8 to 9 a.m. on KONG TV and 5-6 p.m. on Northwest Cable News

Seattle Children's provides health care for the special needs of children regardless of race, sex, creed, ethnicity or disability. Financial assistance for medically necessary services is based on family income and hospital resources and is provided to children under age 21 whose primary residence is Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.
