Provider Training for Electronic Medication Reconciliation
Electronic medication reconciliation is being implemented in Day Surgery, the OR and the Surgical Unit at Children’s on April 1. View the provider training schedule (PDF 13KB) for one-hour drop-in sessions or see the Provider Training for Electronic Medication Reconciliation (PPT 775KB) to learn about the process. As part of this new process, providers will now need to use EasyScript. Review EasyScript Quick Tips (PDF 99KB) or the EasyScript Basic Training for Providers (PPT 3MB) if you need to learn how to use EasyScript.
AAP Policy: The Pediatrician and Disaster Preparedness
Review the updated American Academy of Pediatrics disaster preparedness policy. The new policy includes recommendations for your involvement in community disaster planning and your preparation for liability issues during the acute and recovery phases of a disaster.
