Program Overview

The General Pediatrics Fellowship, which began in 1987, has a track record of highly productive fellows. We are distinguished by excellent and diverse mentoring, a leading General Pediatrics Division and a world-class school of public health. All fellows earn a Master of Public Health degree. Both years of the program are research focused. Fellows may base their research in any area of general pediatrics, including health services, outcomes research, health behavior, health disparities, chronic illness, disabilities, immunizations, media and obesity.

Application Requirements

  • Prerequisites/post–medical school requirements: We require applicants to be U.S. citizens, noncitizen U.S. nationals or permanent residents. They must have an MD or equivalent degree and should desire a career in academic medicine. Most have completed a minimum of three years postgraduate training.
  • Application deadline: Sept. 1
  • Interview start and end dates: September, until position is filled
