Eating Disorders Program

The Eating Disorders Program provides services for teens and their families who need treatment for anorexia nervosa and bulimia.

Taught by mental health specialists, the Program has developed two new classes to support families and adolescents deal with these issues.

Meal Support Training for Parents

This is a 5-week class for parents of adolescents with eating disorders aged 12 to 18. It teaches strategies for supporting adolescents who struggle with disordered eating behaviors and thoughts.

Class size limited to 4 families (2 adults per family).

In this class parents will learn:

  • Growth and development during the adolescent years.
  • Techniques for improving communication with their adolescents.
  • How to structure mealtimes.
  • How to provide emotional support.
  • Normalizing your adolescent’s eating habits.
