Dan made everything better. My daughter had her first experience with anesthesia today and while I was very anxious, I felt so much better after meeting Dan. He was kind, personable and confident. He took time to get to know my daughter, answer questions and he made sure I was okay with everything too. He even took the time to read a few jokes out of the knock knock book my daughter brought. He let us know exactly what to expect and even though my daughter panicked when the time came to put on the mask, everything was okay. I was able to hold her close and the procedure was a success. When my daughter woke up she gave me a big hug and I felt so much better the whole time knowing Dan was looking out for her. If any of my kids have to have anesthesia again in the future I will be requesting him. And Dan, if you're reading this: thank you so much for what you do, you truly make the experience better for so many families. Our community is so lucky you are in this field.
