Low Risk NRP Course
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Course is an education program of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Heart Association (AHA) that teaches an evidence-based approach to newborn care. The course introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation by utilizing a blended learning approach that includes online testing, online case-based simulations and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
The Low-Risk NRP Course is designed for providers who specialize in low-risk deliveries or who are new to the birth environment. This course is designed to provide more opportunity to practice individual skills and moving through the NRP Resuscitation Algorithm, as well as focusing on teamwork and communication.
