Stanley Stamm Summer Camp
Each August, the Stanley Stamm Summer Camp gives children with serious illnesses the chance to go fishing, ride horses and take part in other activities typical of summer camp at a week-long, sleepover camp near Mt. Rainier. Our camp, founded by Seattle Children’s heart specialist Dr. Stanley Stamm, includes medical support so that children who are unable to attend other camps can join in the fun.
Campers must be patients at Seattle Children’s and between the ages of 6 and 14 years old. The camp takes place in August. Please call our office for application information and volunteer opportunities.

Fundraising events
Stanley Stammpede Bike-a-thon
The 2013 Stammpede Bike-a-thon will be held June 8 and 9 on San Juan Island. The Stammpede is a fun, recreational event that provides riders with a chance to see the San Juans in a whole new way. Maps, support vehicles and campgrounds provided. Riders can complete 30 miles, take shortcuts or add miles to other scenic locations. Orca viewing is a real possibility! Read more (PDF).
Stanley Stamm Camp Guild
The Stanley Stamm Camp Guild is a group of people who love camp. Many guild members are former campers, volunteers or friends and family of people who have benefited from the Stamm Camp experience. Membership is open to all.
Our guild hosts several fundraising events each year.
Volunteer Information
Our camp offers hundreds of volunteer opportunities during the week of camp. We would not be able to offer this incredible experience to our campers without dedicated medical and non-medical volunteers. 2013 camp dates for volunteers are August 18 to 23. Camper Information
Stamm Campers are children between the ages of 6 and 14 who have been seen at Seattle Children's Hospital or its clinics, and who may be unable to attend other camps due to their medical needs. Camp dates for 2013 are August 19 to 23. To request a camper application, please contact us.
