Prepare for Your Visit to the After Hours Clinic

If your child’s illness or injury is life-threatening, call 911

• If your child needs help right away, the Children’s Hospital Emergency Department in Seattle is open all day, every day. You do not need an appointment.
• Call your child’s healthcare provider’s office before you come to the After Hours Clinic. The provider’s answering service may help you get a referral, if required by your insurance plan, or connect you with their medical advice center.
• If you need healthcare advice or want to know if your child should see a doctor, call our specially trained nurses at the Seattle Children's Resource line at 206-987-2500 or toll-free at 866-987-2500, option 1.
