During this 120-minute time span, we will open the Alyssa Burnet Adult Life Center to all adult participants. Participants can engage in a variety of activities under the guidance and supervision of the center staff.
- Free time in our soothing room
Participants will be able to use and enhance a variety of skills, including:
- Increasing range of interests and activities
- Building independence
- Social skills with peers and instructor/therapist
The open recreation time is intended for adults age 18 and older with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Participants who require a 1:1 aide or caregiver are required to bring this person with them to class.

Time and cost
Thursdays, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., $10 per hour
