Music (Level II)

In this 60-minute class, adult participants will engage in a variety of activities under the guidance of an instructor, with the support of caregivers or aides as needed.

Activities include:

  • Playing instruments
  • Listening to music
  • Learning adapted instruments
  • Improvising
  • Moving to music
  • Singing
  • Performing as a group
  • Conducting
  • Writing songs

This class is intended for adults age 18 and older with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Participants should be independent and able to follow simple directions.

Ultimately, we seek to help people find the musician that lives inside all of us by providing opportunities to create music, have fun and feel great.

Mondays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., $275 per quarter
