In this 60-minute class, adult participants will engage in the following activities under the guidance of an instructor, with the support of caregivers or aides as needed. This class is sensory-friendly with quieter volume and lower lighting.
- Following a consistent routine
- Learning adapted choreography
- Dancing using different musical scores
- Learning different styles of dance
- Dancing to improve coordination and mobility
This class is intended for adults age 18 and older with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
We strive to meet each person’s individual needs by incorporating their unique interests and personality into each class. There is no wrong or right way to dance as it is about everyone having fun.
