While the risk of contracting West Nile Virus in Washington state is low, mosquito bites still pose a potential hazard. Dr. Ben Danielson talks about the risks and the steps you can take to protect your children.

Avoid the outdoors around dusk and dawn.
Use netting over baby strollers.
Use mosquito repellent, paying close attention to what’s in the repellent — some ingredients are not recommended to be used on small children.
