Child Health Advice: Nose
These guidelines (topics) are intended to help you determine how sick your child is and if you need to call your child's doctor. Their second purpose is to help you treat your child at home when it is safe to do so.
IMPORTANT! Your doctor's advice and your good judgment should always take precedence over information in these guidelines.
- Colds
- Runny or congested nose.
- Nose Injury
- Bloody nose without a fracture, swelling and bruising of the nose without a fracture.
- Nosebleed
- Bleeding from one or both nostrils.
- Sinus Pain and Congestion
- A sensation of fullness, pressure or pain on the face overlying a sinus cavity (above the eyebrow, behind the eye, around the eye, or over the cheekbone).
