    Girls’ Night Out

    The Lloyd W. Nordstrom Guild is hosting their Girls’ Night Out event at the Queen Bee Café! There will be a spa basket to raffle off, as well as several vendors selling gifts that pamper! Crumpets, cookies and wine will also be available. Attire is casual.

    Are you a parent of a tween or teen 11 to 18? If so, this forum is for you. Join Seattle Children’s Adolescent Medicine team at this morning forum to learn and engage around adolescent health topics, including general wellness and healthy habits; social media use; adolescent mental health; drug use prevention; and reproductive health. This is a free event with pre-registration required, as seats are limited.

    Pediatric Brain Injury Family Day

    Part of a series of support groups for survivors of pediatric brain injuries and stroke and their families.

    For children: Make new friends while exploring the outdoors in the beautiful setting of Camp Korey through activities like a nature scavenger hunt, nature crafts and adaptive outdoor cycling.

    For teens: Connect with other young people who share similar experiences, go on a group adaptive bicycle ride on trails and get creative with nature arts and crafts.

    For parents and caregivers: Meet other parents of children with brain injuries, and staff from Seattle Children's, Camp Korey, HeadStrong and the BIAWA. Outdoors for All will share information about their accessible outdoor programs and demonstrate adaptive bicycles for us.

    Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by October 25, as space is limited.

    Let us know if you need support for transportation – a van will be available for pickup in the Seattle area!

    Childcare available onsite for children under the age of 5.
