Why did Seattle Children’s Research Institute just land $5.3M?

Dr. Tim Rose, co-director of Seattle Children’s Research Institute’s Center for Global Infectious Disease Research, has received a $5.3 million grant to further his research into identifying and tracking new strains of influenza. The five-year grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was awarded in partnership with Micronics Inc., a Redmond-based medical device manufacturer.
