Tough questions remain in Seattle Children’s suit against insurance chief

Washington Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler must offer plans that cover  "essential" health services through the state exchange to comply with the Affordable Care Act, according to a ruling issued Monday. The partial summary judgment was in response to a lawsuit Seattle Children’s filed against the office in October. Attorneys for Children’s argued that officials failed to do their job when they approved exchange plans that didn’t include the hospital in their networks.
