A cancer diagnosis can be scary enough for any person, much less a child to deal with in the short term. However, many children who undergo successful treatment for their illness must then grapple with the long term implications of that treatment. Specialists like Leah Kroon at Seattle Children’s are now helping those children plan for the future with various forms of fertility preservation.
