Congratulations to the Seattle Children’s Hospital Guild Association Board of Trustees, which celebrates its silver anniversary this year. Seattle Children’s has benefited from guild members’ leadership and advocacy for more than a century; the board of trustees was officially formed in 1986.
Trustees provide strategic leadership for the Guild Association and are responsible for its financial integrity. They approve our budget, work with hospital leaders to determine our annual Funding Focus and strive to enhance the success of all guilds. Through numerous committees and membership outreach activities, trustees look for ways to help guilds increase net revenue, bolster membership and understand compliance rules.
In total, 85 women have served as trustees, including 47 emeritus trustees who have served for nine years or more. Thank you to all past and present trustees (present trustees are pictured above) for their leadership and commitment to Children’s.
