Seattle Children's provided $102 million in uncompensated care in fiscal year 2010, an increase of approximately $6 million over fiscal 2009.

As of March 31, guilds have raised nearly $2.3 million in the current fiscal year, and most of these funds will support uncompensated care.

"The need for uncompensated care continues to grow," says Aileen Kelly, Guild Association executive director. "We should be aware of the need but not let it overwhelm us. Every guild plays a vital part in fundraising."
