Frontiers in Pediatric Research Lecture With Dr. Ulf Nehrbass

Please join Seattle Children’s Research Institute for a lecture by Dr. Ulf Nehrbass, “Precision Medicine in a Post-Genomic Era,” part of Seattle Children’s free, public Frontiers in Pediatric Research lecture series. Nehrbass is a microbiology pioneer and CEO of the Luxembourg Institute of Health and the Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg.

Nehrbass examines the immune system as a shared functional module between health and disease. The lecture will draw on real-world data from prospective patient cohorts to comprehend shared molecular mechanisms between different diseases. In order to understand idiopathic disease etiologies, he sees the need to go beyond an emphasis on genetic data sets and include a range of multidimensional readouts to delineate challenges on a personalized level.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with a lunch reception to follow at noon. RSVP requested via this form.
